Rules - Please print this page and place in your kit bag
for reference

Length of matches - The matches are "best of 11 games". That means
the score could be 11/0, 9/2, etc. If it is 5/5 then a normal 7 point tiebreaker
decides the last game. This design is to make sure that each match can
be finished in an hour booking. If you are able to book 2 hours then
you can play a longer match but the first 11 games must count for the
BLTS scoring.
Deadline date - You must complete all
your matches by the specified deadline date given upon entering the BLTS.
Failure to play enough matches
- If a player fails to play a minimum of 50% of their matches by the
end deadline date, they will forfeit
all matches 0/11, even completed matches. That way no other player has the
benefit of getting an 11/0 walkover when others in the box may have only won 6/5 against
the tardy player. Without a good reason for tardiness the player may also be excluded from the next
BLTS season.
Unfinished box matches - Any unfinished matches, if the player is above 50%, will have scores of 5/5 awarded to both players and the box will then have all scores entered.
Deciding the box winner and placings - Each box will be decided by the total number of matches won. In the case of a 2 way draw the winner will then be decided on who beat who, and if there is still no clear winner then the person with the highest number of games will win.
Promotion or demotion - It will be at the sole discretion of the BLTS supervisor as to how many players move up a box and how many move down. This will be dependant on the grading of any new entries for the following BLTS. (Winners & runner-ups will likely move up a box and players 5 & 6 most likely will move down).

No reply - If opponents do not return your calls or emails within 1 week please inform supervisor@boxleaguestennisseries.com
No-shows - If opponents fail to show for a match or constantly cancel arranged dates please inform supervisor@boxleaguestennisseries.com
Withdrawals - Players consistently withdrawing after entry may not be allowed to rejoin. A withdrawal awards 11/0 walkovers to all players in the relevant box.
Injury - If a player is injured during a match and cannot continue then the remaining games go to the opponent. If a player cannot continue in the whole series then all the injured player's games are considered as 0/11 so that it is a fair result for all players.
Please give a few schedule options - When you contact your opponent please give them at least 2 match options to ensure that they can make one of the dates. A walkover may be taken if a player does not return three or more messages or emails within a week. Please inform supervisor@boxleaguestennisseries.com if this occurs.
Forfeit games for tardiness - If an opponent is up to 30 minutes late, please start the match. If you cannot complete the match in the hour time slot the person who was late will forfeit the remaining games.
Walkovers - If an opponent is more than 30 minutes late to a confirmed match with no contact via mobile phone then an 11/0 walkover may be claimed. Please forward confirmation email with the score report of 11/0.
Court fees - If there are any court fees it is common courtesy to offer to pay for your share, which should be 50% of the fee.
